A-Team (Administration)

This team utilizes their gifts of administration and organization to serve the church in areas like data entry, mailer preparation, and more.

Baptism Team

This team prepares for and assists in multiple ways during baptisms. Tasks focus on logistics like directing participants, securing personal items while being baptized, and taking care of wet towels. It is exciting to be a part of welcoming new people into the body of Christ!

Café Team

This team serves on Sunday mornings by serving coffee and breakfast items in the lobby café before and after each Sunday service. Team members have strong hands-on skills, multi-task well, and genuinely love welcoming people. Hospitality is a spiritual gift that fits well for this team.

Community Center

This team is involved in countless outreach ministries focusing on being the hands and feet of Jesus to bring God’s love to our community by meeting physical and spiritual needs. Some of the areas where Dream Team members serve:​

Dinner Night

This team meets at the community center, enjoying a meal with the community for those who would not otherwise be attending a church service.

​

Dream Team HQ Team

This team serves by welcoming the members of our Dream Team, who make Sunday morning run smoothly by hosting the area where they can enjoy refreshments and catch a moment of downtime.

​

Events Support Team

This team helps provide setup, hospitality, clean-up, and other support for special events held at River City Church, like District Fine Arts, concerts, and more.

​

Facilities Team

This group of Dream Team volunteers use their tradesman skills to help keep the buildings and grounds functional. The areas of expertise needed are electrical, plumbing, HVAC, general carpentry, drywall repair, and painting. Other areas may include mowing, weeding, snow removal, and landscaping. This team serves as needed and is essential to the ongoing functionality of all the River City properties.

Food Pantry Team

There are many ways to serve on this team that serves our community during the week, including picking up the food, stocking the shelves, assisting clients with check-in, shopping, loading their cars, and even praying with them.

​

Greeting Team

This team loves people and makes them feel at home at River City. They welcome guests at the door with a smile and help them navigate the building. This group serves on Sunday mornings, and they also help with various other events at the church, including holiday celebrations, conferences, concerts, etc.

Growth Track Team

This team hosts Growth Track by greeting guests and providing materials and assistance throughout the Growth Track process.

​

Guest Connections Team

This team interacts with guests by answering questions and providing information about all our current events, ministry opportunities, and services at RCC. This team also plays a crucial role in welcoming first-time guests, ensuring we have the correct information for follow-up, and connecting them in person with pastors and ministry leaders.

​

Housekeeping Team

This team works behind the scenes to maintain a spirit of excellence in our facilities. Serving opportunities include cleaning, room setups, preparing facilities for baptism, and organizing spaces. 

​

Hospitality Meal Team

This team serves families after a funeral or memorial service by coordinating and serving a meal. Team members set up, provide food, clean up, and offer comfort. This team also helps prepare and serve meals at special events like Missions Emphasis Dinner. 

​

Hospital Visitation Team

This team visits and prays for hospitalized people connected to River City Church on a weekly basis.

​

Life Group Leaders Team

Life Group Leaders provide a way for the big church to become small enough for people to make meaningful relationships that foster individual spiritual transformation. Leaders organize group meetings around a topic or activity, lead discussions about applying scriptural truths to everyday life, and provide a place for people to authentically process what God is doing in their lives.

Missions Team

These teams form for short times to serve missionaries locally, nationally, and globally.

Next Steps Info Team

This team helps people identify their next steps by providing resources and information about Life Groups, Growth Track, events, and other Next Steps.

​

Online Campus Team

This team connects with guests of River City from around the world, encouraging, praying for, and building relationships with those who attend church online.

​

Prayer Team

This team of trained prayer partners primarily serves during the Sunday morning worship service, meeting with individuals responding to a call to pray about the Sunday sermon theme or life circumstances. Occasionally, this group is called on to provide prayer teams for other events like conferences, trainings, etc. RCC also has an intercessory prayer team that meets (by invitation only) on Sunday mornings.

Production Team

This team uses creativity and technology to reach thousands by delivering the Word and worship to screens at RCC venues, online, and on television. Team members use cameras, lighting, audio engineering, computers, and other visual elements to share RCC worship services and events with a broad audience.

​

RCC Español

River City Español is a new ministry for Spanish speakers in our community. This team will provide a weekly Sunday worship experience at the River City Community Center. You do not have to speak Spanish to help serve on this team. We want to build a preschool nursery team, Grades K-5 Sunday school team, AV media, and production, café, first impressions teams, etc.

River City Kids Check-in Team

This team welcomes families as they arrive and facilitates the check-in process, ensuring families are cared for effectively and efficiently.

​

River City Elementary Team

This team creates an environment in our kid services where children are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus. They intentionally invest in our children's lives through worship, videos, skits, Life Groups, greetings, games, and more.

​

River City Preschool/Nursery Team

This team creates an environment in our kid services where children are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus. They intentionally invest in our children's lives through worship, videos, skits, Life Groups, greetings, games, and more.

​

River City Students Team

This team serves students grades 6-12 through Sunday night services and events. This team gets the opportunity to create relationships with teenagers and walk them through their relationship with God!

​

Story Tellers Team

There are opportunities to serve regularly or at special events. This is a group of creative people who capture and produce visual content. They work together to create images and videos that tell compelling stories and capture the essence of RCC.

​

Setup/Tear-down Team

This team facilitates ministry environments as they change for different groups. Tasks include moving tables, setting up chairs, and preparing rooms and areas.

​

Ushers Team

These men and women prepare people for a positive worship experience by welcoming and assisting them to a seat, facilitating the offering, and maintaining a distraction-free environment. They serve on Sunday mornings and help with other events,, including holiday celebrations, concerts, and other special events.

​

Worship Team

This team leads the congregation in worshiping God through music, songs, and instruments. This team serves primarily on Sunday mornings but also at 1st Wednesdays, at weekly RC Student services, and other events throughout the year.
